Lately, I have been playing around with brushes in Illustrator, and then bringing them into Photoshop as smart objects (which I adore!). Here is a cute little digital collage ACEO that I made using some illustrator brushes and free images from Morguefile.com. Have you ever checked out Morguefile? They have lots of high rez images that are free for the taking. Just make sure you check the photographer's comments on the photos, as they might require a note of credit.
In the case of this little cutie, I have used lucky-frank's cat and xandart's moth and combined the two using layers in Photoshop. Add some of those smartobjects from Illustrator, and Voila! Catwings - free ACEO for you to download and enjoy! Just click on the image to see the higher rez version and then you can save that pic to your computer.
